Embry-Riddle had a program high, six players named to the College Sports Communicator Academic All-District team. The College Sports Communicators recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Embry-Riddle's players that were honored are
Francesco Busini, Ravi Holladay, Nitai Bental, Dario Adjini, Julian Albanil, and
Sean Maguire.
Busini is a junior defender studying Mechanical Engineering. On the field he started all 18 games for ERAU and tallied five assists.
Holladay is a defender that started and played in 17 games and added two assists. Off the field at Embry-RIddle Holladay is studying Biology.
Bental was the Eagles leading goal scorer this year with 11 goals and two assists as he started in 16 games and appeared in 17. Bental is studying Aerospace Engineering.
Adjini like Holladay is a defender for ERAU that started in 16 games this season. He finished the season with one goal and one assist. Adjini is working toward his degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Sophomore, Albanil is studying applied biology. He appeared in 15 games making 12 starts and contributed two goals and one assist.
Maguire is a forward for the Eagles and in his sophomore campaign had three goals and four assists. He is studying Mechanical Engineering.
