Embry-Riddle had a number of athletes run personal bests at the Oxy Distance Carnival in Eagle Rock, California on Saturday as Zoe Tizard, Rae Yoshioka, Mia Kemp, Elyse Grant and Fionnula Carew all ran new personal records.  

800m Race
Yoshioka beat her previous best time by one second as she ran a 2:25.23 in the 800.  

1500m Race
Makenna Bray led the way for ERAU with a time of 4:57.86.  She was followed closely by Grant who finished with a time of 4:58.07 to acheive her personal best in the event.  Yoshioka ran the race in 5:09.32.  

5000m Race
Tizard finished in 20th place with a new personal record of 17:51.58 for the Eagles.  Tiffany Terry also ran the 5000m race and came across the finish line in 19:51.21.  

10,000m Race
ERAU saw two personal best times in the 10,000 race as Kemp came in 5th with a time of 37:49.62 and Carew finished in 41:22.37.  Carew beat her previous best time by two minutes.

Embry-Riddle will race again on March 15th at the Ross and Sharon Irwin Invite in San Diego.
