Embry-Riddle finished in 3rd place at the Great Southwest Athletic Conference Championships held at La Purisima Golf Club in Lompoc, Calif. Monday through Wednesday.
ERAU finished just one stroke out of 2nd place. Played April 20-22 on the 6,799-yard, par-72 layout, the championship was tightly packed behind the leader for much of the week. Embry-Riddle, which entered the final round in second, held steady in third at 927 after a closing 313.
Freshman,
Jonathan Tso led ERAU with a second place finish overall, five shots back from the medalist.
Next for the Eagles was
Tyler Tamayori. Tamayori finished in 9th place overall.
Robert Brackett came in 20th at +19 for the event. After the first round,
Carter Seis was subbed in for ERAU. He finished with scores of 75 and 80 for the Eagles.
Jeremy Reynolds came in 36th overall as he finished the three day event at +30.
GSAC All-Conference awards were also handed out at the event. Earning All-Conference for ERAU was
Jonathan Tso as he was named the Freshman of the Year and to the All-Conference team and
Tyler Tamayori.
Embry-Riddle will take the summer break and be back for the 2026-2027 season in the fall.
