Competing against several strong regional programs, the Eagle men delivered an impressive season-opening performance, placing second in the team standings of the 4.5-mile race. Embry-Riddle finished with 15 points, trailing only to host Northern Arizona while finishing ahead of Coconino Community College, Utah Tech, and Grand Canyon.

Senior Dillon Eisner paced the Eagles, covering the 4.5-mile course in 22:49.0 to lead all Eagle runners. Senior Ben Smith followed with a time of 23:24.1, while freshman Thomas Isenovski impressed in his collegiate debut by crossing the finish line in 23:29.9.

Junior Nicolas Urquidez turned in a time of 23:51.3, and junior Cam Shepherd completed the Eagles' scoring five in 23:54.1. Additional depth came from Hayes Terry (24:02.2), Maxwell Kilstrom (24:02.9), Joseph Fox (24:05.0), Benjamin Kovach (24:05.7), and Nathan Nations (24:08.1).

Northern Arizona swept the top seven scoring positions en route to the team title, but the Eagles established themselves as the top challenger in the field with a strong overall team effort.

Wednesday's meet marked the first competition of the year for the Eagles and provided a strong foundation as ERAU begins the 2026 cross country campaign.
