- I chose to attend ERAU because: "I never dreamt of going to a four-year college right out of high school. My plan was to go "check out" colleges close to home and set myself a goal of returning after community college. However, as soon as I visited Embry Riddle, all of my plans changed. Between the beautiful area and the friendly atmosphere, I knew I had to have more. I toured the campus and was introduced to a couple of professors witch only furthered my already high opinions of the campus. I had the pleasure of meeting with the head coach of the cross country team, as well as most of the team, and from that moment on, I was hooked. The next day during the drive back to California I planned how I was going to make everything work. A few months later I was enrolled and ready to get my start at this impressive college."
