- Participated in cross country, track & field, wrestling and basketball at Yucaipa High School
- Scholar Athlete
- Earned Citrus Belt All-League Honors
- Was wrestling team's MVP
- Participated in the Wrestling Masters Meet, finishing ninith in Southern California
- Was a Citrus Belt Leauge Champion
- CIF-SS Division I qualifier
- Earned California Scholarship Federation Honors
- Earned a Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish
- Was a part of Best Buddies and Fellowship of Christian Athletes

- Why Did You Chose To Attend ERAU?: "I chose to attend Embry-Riddle to pursue my interest in becoming an FBI Field Agent with a unique degree and gaining access to internships, as well as the opportunity to continue my running career."
