Russell Pick begins his fourth season as the Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. Since taking over the Eagles’ golf programs in 2023, Pick has led Embry-Riddle to conference championships, national championship appearances, numerous tournament victories and individual honors while establishing both programs as consistent contenders on the national stage.

The 2025-26 season marked another successful year for Pick and the Eagles. The Embry-Riddle women captured their second GSAC Conference Championship in a row winning the 2026 GSAC Championship and advancing to the NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship, where they recorded a Top-10 national finish. The Eagles earned five tournament victories during the season and finished inside the top three in six events.

Under Pick’s guidance, Emma Marshall earned GSAC Women’s Freshman of the Year honors. On the men’s side, Jonathan Tso was named the GSAC Men’s Freshman of the Year. Jonathan Tso and Tyler Tamayori earned All-GSAC recognition, while Charlotte Giffin, Bella Mantini, and Marshall received All-GSAC honors for the women.

The men also continued to make strides during the 2025-26 season, earning two tournament victories and a runner-up finish at Coyote Springs. The Eagles recorded victories over several nationally ranked programs throughout the year.

The 2024-25 season was also a historic one for the Embry-Riddle women. Pick guided the Eagles to six tournament victories, including the program’s first GSAC Championship, which ERAU won by 38 strokes. Freshman Bella Mantini captured the GSAC Individual Championship, earned All-America recognition and was selected to the WGCA All-Freshman Team. Olivia Zamarripa was named the GSAC Freshman of the Year. Pick was named the 2024-25 GSAC Men’s Golf Coach of the Year after guiding the Eagles through their first season competing in the Golden State Athletic Conference. The men finished third at the TMU Invitational and fourth at the GSAC Championship.

Pick’s first season at Embry-Riddle in 2023-24 immediately produced championship results. He was named the Cal Pac Women’s Golf Coach of the Year after leading the Eagles to the Cal Pac Championship and a 12th-place finish at the NAIA National Championship. The Embry-Riddle men also found success during Pick’s first year, winning the ERAU Spring Invitational and finishing runner-up at the Cal Pac Conference Championship.

Prior to arriving at Embry-Riddle, Pick served as the Director of Golf at Dakota Wesleyan University beginning in 2021, overseeing both the men’s and women’s programs. During his tenure, the Tigers earned tournament victories, team records, and multiple top finishes while competing in the Great Plains Athletic Conference.
