Connor Lansing

Connor Lansing is the newest member of the Embry-Riddle Sports Medicine team with professional with extensive clinical experience across collegiate, professional, and high-school sports settings. He earned his Master’s of Athletic Training from Weber State University in 2025 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Health & Kinesiology and a Minor in Nutrition at the University of Utah.

Connor has provided comprehensive care to athletes at every level, including NCAA Division I track and field competitors and elite speedskaters with US Speedskating. His clinical background includes orthopedic evaluations, injury prevention, manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and the development of individualized rehabilitation programs. During his time with US Speedskating, he also supported medical operations by managing inventory, implementing electronic medical record systems, and collaborating closely with coaches and medical staff to ensure safe return-to-sport decisions.

Connor’s training spans a wide range of environments—from high-performance centers and physical therapy clinics to high-school athletics—where he has gained hands-on experience in taping, wound care, concussion awareness, and acute injury management. His early internships exposed him to advanced recovery technologies such as IASTM, cupping therapy, AlterG anti-gravity treadmill systems, and cryotherapy modalities.

He holds multiple certifications, including Board of Certification eligibility (2025), Basic Life Support, Emergency Medical Responder, SafeSport, concussion training, and suicide-prevention certifications. His technical skills include proficiency with SportsWare and Smartabase EMR systems, SPSS, phlebotomy, and specialized performance equipment.

Beyond clinical work, Connor has volunteered at numerous national and international sporting events, including the US Junior Short Track Championships, Four Continents Speed Skating Championships, and the Ogden Marathon. His commitment to athlete health, evidence-based practice, and collaborative care continues to shape his professional approach
