PRESCOTT, AZ The Cal Pac Soccer Championship action continues today from the campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Today the finals take place, as we crown the women's and men's CAL PAC Champions, and award conference's automatic berth to the NAIA National Championship Opening Rounds. The ladies will kick-off their final at 4:30 PM, as #1 seed William Jessup University will take on the hosts and #3 seed Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. The men will follow at approximately 7:00 PM, as the home side and #3 seed Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University will square off with #4 seed La Sierra University.
In yesterday's action for the ladies, William Jessup defeated Marymount 1-0 to earn their spot in the final, while Embry-Riddle used a 3-0 win over Menlo to advance. On the men's side La Sierra University upset the #1 seed Marymount 3-2, and Embry-Riddle got past William Jessup 2-1 in the rain-filled evening game.
Admission for the CAL PAC Championships is $10 for the day for adults, $5 per day for seniors 60+, students and children. Admission is free to students with a valid ID from a CAL PAC member school, as well as all children 5 and under.
