THE EMBRY-RIDDLE EAGLES GO GOLD FOR PEDIATRIC CANCER AWARENESS

SEPTEMBER 12, 2014- Cherry Hill, NJ: This weekend, the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Men's Soccer team will be participating in Go4theGoal's Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer campaign in recognition of pediatric cancer awareness month. On Friday, September 12th at 7pm against Our Lady of the Lake University Saints and Monday, September 15th at 2pm against the Biola University Eagles, Embry-Riddle will wear their gold laces. All three teams will Lace Up during their matches to support local children with cancer. "We are so thrilled about our new partnership with Embry-Riddle Men's Soccer," said Nate Mulberg, Go4theGoal Athletics Coordinator. "Coach Pearce runs as good a program as anyone in the country. It is an honor to work with such good people who truly want to help in the fight against pediatric cancer, the number one disease killer of children."
"It is a privilege to partner with such an organization and most importantly the people that make up Go4theGoal and Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer," said Coach Adam Pearce. "As September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, we at Embry-Riddle Soccer wanted to pursue an opportunity to serve the needs of our community in not only raising awareness of this horrific disease but in contributing to the eradication of it entirely."
Admission for the games is $5.00 and all will receive a pair of Go4theGoal's laces to unite the teams and their fans in the fight against pediatric cancer. All funds will be used to support patients and families in Arizona being treated at Cardon Children's Medical Center.
