CASTRO VALLEY, Calif. - Four members of the Embry-Riddle men's soccer team were honored by the California Pacific Conference (Cal Pac) when the league announced its post season honors for 2017. Seniors Nicholas Goldstein (Pleasanton, Calif.) and Devin Ries (Gilbert, Ariz.) were both named to second team All-Cal Pac honors, with freshmen Jacob Baker (Graham, Wash.) and Simon Jensen (Boras, Sweden) getting honorable mention honors.

Goldstein turned in an outstanding season for the Eagles from his forward position, leading the team and finishing fourth in the Cal Pac with 15 goals. He added four assists to finish with a team-high 34 points on the season. One of the top defenders in the conference from his left back position, Ries earned his first all-conference honor and contributed a goal and three assists on offense.

Baker turned in a strong first season for Embry-Riddle from his midfield position, finishing second on the team with eight goals while also contributing a pair of assists. Another member of the Eagle defense, Jensen also added a pair of goals and three assists in his first year at ERAU.
