Box Score LANCASTER, CALIF. – After wrapping up the Southwest division last week, the ERAU men's soccer team kept the momentum rolling on Friday. The Eagles managed a goal in each half to defeat the University of Antelope Valley 2-0 to extend its win streak to four games.
Djougher Oliveria scored the game's first goal in the 27' after a great feed from Pedro Mena. The game sat at that 1-0 margin for awhile, until Bryan Castellanos scored the insurance marker in the 88'.
The Eagles has took a majority of the shots, putting up 19 attempts to the Pioneers' nine. The Pioneers put five of those attempt on net, but ERAU had seven shots on target.
Freshman keeper Elias Ammon made five saves to record another clean sheet on this season. The Eagles have now have back-to-back shutouts for second time this season, and the team has held an opponent scoreless nine times in the Fall.
The Eagles will finish the regular season on Sunday afternoon in Riverside, Calif. Kickoff against La Sierra is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
