Box Score KLAMATH FALLS, ORE. – It was another top-15 test for the ERAU men's basketball team on Friday night, and it did not go the way the Eagles had hoped in its first of two games in the Pacific Northwest. Embry-Riddle fell 116-68 to drop its record to 2-3 this season.
Conner Verdugo scored a game high 24 points of the Eagles, and did it in an efficient manner. He shot 8-14 from the field, and knocked down six of his eight free throws.
Conner Verdugo also tied for the team lead in rebounds with five, along with Christmas Togiai, Jr. Nine players to check in for the Eagles on the night grabbed at least two rebounds.
Six different Owl players finished in double-digit scoring totals, and OIT shot 60% from the floor.
The Eagles will take the court again on Saturday in Klamath Falls, this time facing off with Southern Oregon. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
