Box Score PRESCOTT, ARIZ. – The Embry-Riddle volleyball team put up a good effort on Neon Night, but eventually fell to Park-Gilbert in its first home game in two weeks. It was a rough start to the opening 1.5 sets, and the Eagles fought hard to battle back into the contest before ultimately falling in straight sets.
Embry-Riddle trailed 18-9 in the second set, and eventually pulled within one at 22-21. While Park-Gilbert eventually closed out the set with three straight points, the Eagles used the momentum to play a back-and-forth final set.
Dalia Haase had an excellent night on both sides of the ball, finishing with seven kills and five block assists. Haase was efficient once again attacking, as she had a .455 hitting percentage and had the seven kills on just 11 attacks.
Adiva Joseph led the team with nine kills overall. Katie Rolle had 23 assists and added four kills on Friday night.
The Eagles will get back on the court Saturday when they travel to Benedictine Mesa. First serve from Bell Bank Park is scheduled for 5 p.m.
