Box Score PRESCOTT, ARIZ. – The Embry-Riddle soccer team shut out its tenth straight opponent on Saturday, and did it again in a dominating fashion. The Eagles scored seven goals in a clean sheet win over Antelope Valley, keeping the Eagles as the only team with six wins in the Cal Pac.
The Eagles did not wait long to get on the board, as Jamie Black scored 28 seconds in. Embry-Riddle went nearly 25 minutes before they scored again, but struck in short fashion.
Aubrie Labno, who already assisted on the games first goal, scored at 26:07 to give the Eagles a 2-0 lead. Then just 18 seconds later, Labno picked up her second assist on Adelie Zechmann's third goal of the season.
Labno would then score her second goal on a penalty kick in the 51st minute. The Eagles would then score another rapid pair of goals, putting in two tallies in 39 seconds during the 67th minute.
Embry-Riddle took a whopping 46 shots, with 26 of those hitting the target. Five different players had three shots on goal, and 13 different Eagles recorded at least on shot on goal.
Annabelle Ruckle put together yet another clean sheet, making one save to preserve the goalless streak. The Embry-Riddle shutout streak now sits at 927:36, and are the only team in the Cal Pac to not allow a goal in conference contests.
The Eagles will get back on the field next Thursday when they host Park-Gilbert. Kickoff from Varsity Field is scheduled for 5 p.m.
