PRESCOTT, ARIZ. – A sweep of its two-game series this week would go a long way for Embry-Riddle's Cal Pac Tournament aspirations, and that is exactly what the Eagles secured with a victory over La Sierra on Saturday. Outside of getting stuck in one rotation for eight consecutive points, ERAU dominated the play most of the day and gave itself a huge tiebreaker in the conference standings.

Embry-Riddle's best set was the fourth and final of the afternoon, when they hit .394 and limited La Sierra to just ten points. The Eagles won 14 of the set's first 17 points, and were able to wrap up the most important victory of the season to this point.

Adiva Joseph had yet another spectacular performance against La Sierra, as she finished with ten kills and a .360 attack percentage. Joseph also had just one attack error, and has posted at least ten kills in four of the last six matches.

Dalia Haase had ten kills as well, and had yet another efficient match attacking. Haase had the ten kills on a .417 kill percentage with no errors, and had had a .400+ attacking percentage in four of the last five matches.

Katie Rolle was running the offense in spectacular fashion once again, posting 37 assists on Friday. Rolle also contributed six kills, and had a big day defensively with 19 digs.

Lily Figgins was all over the court defensively again, finishing the game with 25 digs. Figgins was also able to distribute on offense, finishing with 11 assists and also had a pair of service aces.

The Eagles will get back on the court next week, and may have a chance to clinch its spot in the Cal Pac Tournament. Embry-Riddle will start its three-match week with a matchup against Simpson on Thursday evening.
