Box Score CALDWELL, IDAHO – The Embry-Riddle men's basketball team was going possession-for-possession with the fourth-ranked College of Idaho in the first half on Saturday, signaling a potential upset alert. While the Eagles came out with a great effort to start the second half, tough shooting saw ERAU eventually fall in its final game of the Domino's Classic.
College of Idaho went on an 18-3 run in the middle of the second half that eventually allowed the Yotes to pull away on Saturday. The Eagles had a tough time shooting the ball in the second half, posting a 23.3% FG percentage compared to College of Idaho's 50%.
Dennis Pomazanov led the Eagles in scoring, putting up 16 while also grabbing six rebounds. Chase Verdugo contributed 12 points off the bench for ERAU.
The Eagles will return to Arizona, but play another road game before the Thanksgiving break. Embry-Riddle will face OUAZ next Tuesday, November 22nd, with tipoff from Surprise scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
