Box Score SURPRISE, ARIZ. – The Embry-Riddle men's basketball team ran into a hot shooting opponent on Tuesday night, as OUAZ posted a 70.3% field goal percentage in the first half en route to a victory. The Eagles did battle in the second half, and outscored the Spirit by four in the final 20 minutes.
Four ERAU players finished in double-figures in the points column, led by Dennis Pomazanov's 19. Pomazanov made ten of his 11 free throw attempts, and also posted six assists to go along with seven rebounds.
David Teibo made six of his eight attempts for the floor and finished with 14 points. Christmas Togiai, Jr. and Chase Verdugo each had ten points.
The next time the Eagles take the court will be in Cal Pac action, as they visit Benedictine-Mesa on Monday, November 28th. Tipoff from Chandler-Gilbert Community College is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. AZT.
