Box Score PRESCOTT, ARIZ. – A season filled with plenty of road trips came to an end in its home gym for the Embry-Riddle men's basketball team on Monday night, as the Eagles got a chance to play in front of its home crowd one final time. ERAU trailed by as many as 20, cutting the lead to single digits late in the game, but the rally fell short in a 76-68 loss to Benedictine-Mesa.
In his final game in an Eagle uniform, Carter Kosiak led all starters with 11 points on 50% shooting. He also pulled down four rebounds and nabbed a steal to wrap up a great career.
David Teibo posted another double-double to wrap up an excellent first season in Prescott, scoring ten points and getting 16 rebounds. The Cal Pac Freshman of the Year candidate grabbed the second-most rebounds in a single game in program history, one game after he tied the record on Saturday.
Conner Verdugo led all Eagle scorers with 12 points, grabbing three rebounds and dishing out a pair of assists. Christmas Togiai, Jr. and Jake Klingler also scored 11 points each on Monday.
