PHOENIX, ARIZ. – The Embry-Riddle men's basketball team hit a cold shooting spell at Park-Gilbert on Wednesday night, and it allowed for the Buccaneers to pull away to earn a conference victory on its home floor.

Christmas Togiai, Jr. led the Eagles with nine points, and got to the free throw line eight times with effective drives. Conner Verdugo led all starters in points and dished out an assists in 18 minutes.

David Teibo and Trevor Weir each pulled down seven rebounds for the Eagles on Wednesday. Teibo also added seven points, and was a frequent visitor to the free throw line as well.

The Eagles will get back on the floor Saturday when they host Saint Katherine. Tipoff from the ERAU Activity Center is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
