Box Score Embry-Riddle Women's Soccer won their second consecutive Cal Pac Regular season title with their 3-0 win over Park-Gilbert in Mesa tonight.
Jamie Brandon (Phoenix, Ariz.) got the scoring started for ERAU in the 32nd minute. Rae Yoshioka (Pearl City, Hawaii) won the ball near midfield and found Haley Harris (Tucson, Ariz.). Harris played it on to Brandon who beat the goalkeeper and put the Eagles up 1-0.
Early into the second half, Brandon picked up an assist as she played the ball to Jamie Black (Tucson, Ariz.). Black collected the ball near the top of the box and placed her shot into the top right corner in the 46th minute. Kari Kasun (Prescott, Ariz.) finished off the scoring for Embry-Riddle in the 85th minute.
The back line for the Eagles consisting of Ellie Neal (Gilbert, Ariz.), Haley Matthews (Phoenix, Ariz.), Maren Rice (Goodyear, Ariz.), Aryanna Sanchez (Tucson, Ariz.) and goalkeeper Annabelle Ruckle (Phoenix, Ariz.) earned another shutout as the Buccaneers didn't even have a shot on goal.
The Eagles finished the conference season 10-0-1 and will be the #1 seed in the upcoming conference tournament held at UC Merced which begins on November 9th.
