On day two of the Southern Oregon Tournament, Embry-Riddle dropped their two matches, the first of the day to Menlo and the second to #2 Corban. 

Match 1-

In the first match of the day, the Eagles faced a tough Menlo team.  It seemed each time ERAU would get some momentum in the match, the Oaks were there to match it as they had moments of long scoring sprees.  The first set was very back and forth until Menlo went on a 2-6 scoring run to take a 11-17 lead which proved to be too big of a deficit for the Eagles to come back from.  In the second set, Menlo jumped out to a lead right away, however Embry-Riddle tied the game at 11s and then took a 12-11 lead on a service ace by Erika Herr (Buckley, Wash.).  After being tied again at 19, the Oaks used timely attacks to close out the set with a score of 25-22.  In the final set of the match, Menlo jumped out to a lead right away, but again the Eagles battled back to tie the score late in the set before the Oaks went on a 2-5 run to close out the match.

Match 2-

The final match of the Southern Oregon Tournament proved to be the toughest for the Eagles as they fell 0-3 to the 2022 National Runners-up and the current #2 ranked Warriors of Corban University.  Dalia Haase (Tucson, Ariz.) led the Eagles with ten kills and Kelly Hansen (El Dorado Hills, Calif.) added five of her own as Embry-Riddle finished the match with 25 kills as a team.  Katie Rolle (Missoula, Mont.) ended with 20 assists and Lily Figgins (St. Charles, Mo.) led the team in digs with ten. 

Embry-Riddle heads to Hawaii next to compete in the Magic Island Hawaii Classic as they play on Friday, August 25^th and Saturday the 26^th in Honolulu.
