Box Score Embry-Riddle took 23 shots, 11 of which were on goal as they won 5-0 over the University of Saint Katherine tonight.
Alex Frances (Valencia, Spain) got the Eagles started in the 10th minute as was able to put away an Aviad Golan (Tel Aviv, Israel) cross to put ERAU in front 1-0. Golan got himself another assist in the 32nd minute as this time it was Luke Thomas (Wauwatosa, Wisc.) who scored for the second game in a row. Frances scored an unassisted goal in the 39th minute to put Embry-Riddle up 3-0 at the half.
The second half started just how the first ended with Frances's third goal of the night in the 49th minute which was assisted by Thomas. Just three minutes later, another Thomas cross found the foot of Frances to make the game 5-0 and give Frances his fourth goal of the game.
Defensively, Embry-Riddle played will as the only allowed one shot on goal by the Firebirds which goalkeeper Daniele Cerbini (Perugia, Italy) was able to save.
ERAU is home again on Saturday at 3:30pm as they host the Seabeggars of Providence Christian.
