On a couple of very windy days at a quite challenging course in Beaumont, Calif., the Embry-Riddle Women's golf team finished 2nd at the Vanguard Spring Invite at Oak Valley Golf Course.
Kaetlin Halseth (Kingwood, Texas) led ERAU with a 151 score for her two rounds. She shot a 77 in round one and a 74 in the second round on her way to a runner-up finish individually. Hailey Stevenson (Las Vegas, Nev.) was second for the Eagles and finished 5th overall as she shot a 79 in round one and an 82 in the second round. The third Embry-Riddle finisher was Libby Axen (Tucson, Ariz.) who scored a 76 and an 87. Maisy Alsen (Gilbert, Ariz.) finished with an 88 and a 79 in her second round. Charlotte Giffin (Woodinville, Wash.) rounded out the scoring for ERAU as she finished with a two round score of 181.
Embry-Riddle will have some time off before their next tournament which is at the end of February in Las Vegas, Nev.
