Charlotte Giffin was the individual medalist as Embry-Riddle took home their second straight tournament title as the Eagles beat OUAZ in a playoff at the Laughlin Ranch Spring Invite on Monday and Tuesday.
Giffin started the tournament with a 72 and shot in an 81 in the second round. Â
Also placing inside the top 10 for ERAU was
Bellamaria Mantini and
Emma Marshall. Mantini and Marshall tied for 6th place with two round scores of 159. They both shot a 75 in the first round and an 84 in the second round. Â
Lila Becker finished in 12th with scores of 78 and 83 followed by
Olivia Zamarripa in 14th with scores of 78 and 84 for the Eagles. Â
Nicole Ikeda and
Victoria Ditching played the event as individuals. Ikeda finished tied for 6th with scores of 80 and 79. Ditching started with an 86 and shot a 97 on the second day. Â
Embry-Riddle will play next March 13th-15th in the Red Rocks Invitational hosted at Oakcreek Country Club. Â
