Embry-Riddle used 28 players and seven different players scored in the Eagles 7-0 over Benedictine Mesa on Thursday night in Prescott.
Senior defender
Hannah Draper (Tucson, Ariz.) opened up the scoring for ERAU in the 17th minute off an assist from
Kari Kasun (Prescott, Ariz.). Five minutes later,
Jackie Peterson (Huntington Beach, Calif.) doubled the Embry-Riddle lead with another assist from Kasun. The Eagles took a 2-0 lead into halftime.
ERAU came out strong in the second half with
Aubrie Labno (Anthem, Ariz.) scoring the first goal of the half off of a cross by
Ella Carnahan (Deer Park, Wash.). Just three minutes later, Carnahan scored a goal of her own to make the score 4-0.
Jamie Brandon (Phoenix, Ariz.) and
Madeline Orges (Sandy, Utah) each added a goal as well. Brandon's came in the 63rd minute followed by Orges in the 69th.
Kaitlyn Roskopf (Chino Valley, Ariz.) scored the final goal of the night with the assist going to
Addie Zechmann (Gilbert, Ariz.).
Embry-Riddle will continue GSAC play on Saturday when the Park Gilbert Buccaneers come to Prescott for a 5pm kickoff.
