Embry-Riddle was overpowered by the Life Pacific Warriors on Friday evening in San Dimas, California with a final score of 0-3 at Mehl Court.
From the onset, the Eagles struggled to find their rhythm against a robust Warriors team. The sets concluded with scores of 22-25, 12-25, and 13-25 respectively, with the Warriors sealing their victory in three straight sets. Despite the outcome, several Eagles players showcased noteworthy performances.
Dalia Haase (Tucson, Ariz.) made a significant impact with 9 kills and contributed defensively with a block. In the backcourt,
Lily Figgins (St. Charles, Mo.) managed an impressive 16 digs, highlighting her crucial role in defense.
ERAU saw a mix of contributions across the board.
Kelly Hansen (El Dorado Hills, Calif.) led with two blocks, while
Katie Rolle (Missoula, Mont.) not only provided 19 assists but also scored an ace. The challenge was heightened by key defensive blocks by the Warriors and several attack errors on the side of the Eagles, hampering their chances for a comeback.
