In a tightly contested GSAC game, Embry-Riddle held on for a 1-0 win at Arizona Christian on Thursday night at the ACU Football Field.
The game's only goal came from
Brandon Pulido-Santala (Westminster, Colo.), who found the back of the net at the 32:56 mark of the first half.
Ravi Holladay (Chino Valley, Ariz.) earned the assist on the goal.
The halftime score mirrored the final outcome, with the Eagles maintaining their slim lead thanks to a steadfast defense and an outstanding performance by goalie
Elias Ammon (Bremen, Germany). Ammon recorded a total of six saves throughout the game and achieved a match shutout, a testament to his pivotal role in the team's defense.
The win adjusts Embry-Riddle's season record to 6-4-5 overall, with a promising 6-2-3 in the GSAC league games.
Embry-Riddle will head to Surprise on Saturday for a game against OUAZ with kickoff scheduled for 2:00pm.
