Embry-Riddle faced a tough challenge against The Master's University Mustangs on October 8, 2024, at The MacArthur Center in Santa Clarita, CA. Despite a valiant effort, the Eagles were unable to secure a set, falling 19-25, 18-25, and 22-25. This result brings the Eagles' record to 9-10 overall and 3-4 in conference play.

The Eagles started the match with determination, but the Mustangs' strong offense proved challenging. In the first set, the Eagles managed to score 19 points but couldn't overcome the Mustangs' early lead. The second set saw the Eagles improve their hitting percentage to .182, but it wasn't enough to close the gap, ending 18-25.

The third set was the most competitive, with several lead changes and tie scores. The Eagles fought hard, pushing the Mustangs to their limits, but ultimately fell short with a 22-25 score.

• Katie Rolle (Missoula, Mont.) was a standout performer, leading the team with 11 kills and an impressive .647 hitting percentage. She also contributed 22 assists and 5 digs, totaling 13.5 points.
• Emma Barber (Goodyear, Ariz.) added 9 kills and 11 digs, showcasing her all-around skills and contributing 10 points.
• Hannah Clear (Fort Worth, Texas) and Alexsandra Rodriguez (Phoenix, Ariz.) each chipped in with 4 kills. Clear also added 1 dig, while Rodriguez contributed 1 block.

Embry-Riddle will return to Prescott to host Montana Tech on Friday evening in the Eagle Gym.  First serve is scheduled for 6pm.
