Embry-Riddle won the Great Southwest Athletic Conference regular season championship with a 2-0 win over the Hope International Royals on Saturday evening in Irvine, Calif. at the OC Great Park.
From the onset, the Eagles took an early lead with
Aubrie Labno (Anthem, Ariz.) scoring the first goal at 13:04 in the initial period, setting a positive tone for the team. The Eagles held this slim margin into halftime with the scoreboard reading 1-0. The second goal came from
Rae Yoshioka (Pearl City, Hawaii) at 65:54 in the second period, assisted by Labno.

Annabelle Ruckle (Phoenix, Ariz.) was a key figure in this critical league encounter, recording a total of 9 saves and securing a shutout that contributed prominently to the Eagles' victory.
