Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Eagles Overwhelm Doane in Decisive 89-71 Victory

Embry-Riddle led most of the game and finished with an 89-71 win over the Tigers of Doane University in the Activity Center on Friday afternoon.

From the beginning of the game, Embry-Riddle imposed themselves on their opponent.  Despite a challenging first quarter where Doane briefly led, the Eagles managed to swing the momentum back in their favor significantly by halftime with a 48-33 lead. As the game progressed, their advantage only grew, reflecting both their strategic depth and execution on court.

Individually, the Eagles were led by an exceptional performance from Noah Gifft (Surprise, Ariz.), who scored 26 points. Supporting him ably were Peter Dress (Kennewick, Wash.) and Christian Wells (Frisco, Texas), contributing 14 and 12 points respectively. Additional standout performances included Isaiah Wong (Dublin, Calif.) with a diverse stats line including 10 points and 8 assists, showing the depth of contribution across the team roster.

The home team's tactical acumen was on full display, managing to extend their lead up to 25 points in the second period. This large margin underscored their control over the game and was pivotal in their eventual victory.

ERAU will play one more game on Saturday at 3pm in the Activity Center before taking a break for the Holidays.
