In their second tournament of the spring, Embry-Riddle golfed well, placing 2nd at The Trailblazer held at TPC Summerlin and Las Vegas Pauite Golf Resort on Monday and Tuesday.
As a team, ERAU shot a 334 on day one at TPC Summerlin and on day two at Las Vegas Pauite Golf Resort the women shot 306.
Leading the way for the Eagles was Senior Hailey Stevenson (Las Vegas, Nev.). Stevenson finished in 2nd place overall with her scores of 78 in the first round and 74 in the second round.
Maisy Alsen (Gilbert, Ariz.) also finished in the top 10 for Embry-Riddle as she took 8th place. Alsen finished with an 82 and a 77 on the second day.
Libby Axen (Tucson, Ariz.) moved up five spots to finish in a tie for 12th with a total of 162. Axen shot an 85 the first day and finished with a 77.
Kaetlin Halseth (Kingwood, Texas) also improved on day two as she finished with a two round score of 166.
Charlotte Giffin (Woodinville, Wash.) improved on her day one score as well after shooting 93, she shot an 87 on the second day for the two day score of 180.
Embry-Riddle will golf again on March 18th-19th in the Showdown at Sundance in Buckeye.
