Embry-Riddle fired a team score of 299 in the first round as they cruised to a tournament victory at the Showdown at Sundance tournament hosted by OUAZ on Monday and Tuesday. 

Due to some issues at the golf course and darkness the women's teams were only able to play 27 holes over the course of the two day event. 

Hailey Stevenson (Las Vegas, Nev.) finished in first place as she finished with a 73 in the first round and a 40 in her round of nine holes.

Maisy Alsen (Gilbert, Ariz.) and Kaetlin Halseth (Kingwood, Texas) finished in a tie for 3^rd place.  Alsen shot a 75 in the first round and a 40 in her shortened second round.  Halseth finished with a 79 followed by a 36. 

Libby Axen (Tucson, Ariz.) finished in 5^th place with a 77 in her first round and a 40 in her second round. 

Taking 6^th place in the event was Charlotte Giffin (Woodinville, Wash.).  Giffin had a 74 in round one and a 46 in her nine hole round. 

Embry-Riddle will host the ERAU Spring Invite next which will take place on Sunday the 24^th and Monday the 25^th at Antelope Hills Golf Course in Prescott.
