After a windy and cold two days, Embry-Riddle came out on top of the ERAU Spring Invite played at Antelope Hills Golf Course on Sunday and Monday as the women finished with team scores of 315 and 308 for a two round total of 623.
Kaetlin Halseth (Kingwood, Texas) won her second event in a row as she shot a 76 in the first round and finished with a 75. Halseth led the tournament with 20 pars and tied for the tournament lead in birdies with 5.
Finishing in second place was Hailey Stevenson (Las Vegas, Nev.). Stevenson shot an 82 in the first round and a 74 in the second round for a total of 156. Stevenson tied with Halseth for the tournament led in birdies as she had five scores under par.
Maisy Alsen (Gilbert, Ariz.) and Charlotte Giffin (Woodinville, Wash.) tied for third place with two day scores of 158. Alsen shot a 79 in each round and Giffin a 78 in the first round and an 80 in the second round.
Libby Axen (Tucson, Ariz.) finished in 8th place for the Eagles. She finished with scores of 84 and 82.
Embry-Riddle will be off until the Cal Pac Conference Championships which will take place on April 16 and 17th in Ventura, Calif. The winner of the Cal Pac meet will earn the conference's automatic bid to the NAIA National Championship event.
