GSAC newcomer Embry-Riddle was voted the favorite in the 2024 GSAC women's volleyball preseason poll. Five points separated the top four teams in the poll, and each of the top four received two first-place votes.
The poll was determined by GSAC head coaches who could not vote for their team.
Embry-Riddle used its two first-place votes to total 41 points in the poll. The Eagles finished 21-10 overall and were third in the Cal Pac with a 16-4 record last season. They return all six starters from the 2023 squad, including two-time Cal Pac Setter of the Year
Katie Rolle.
Benedictine Mesa and The Master's finished tied for second in the poll with 39 points and each team was voted to win the league on two ballots. Benedictine Mesa returns three starters from a 2023 team that finished 29-4 overall and second in the Cal Pac at 18-2. Kylie Bartel returns for the Redhawks after being named First Team All-Cal Pac last season.
The Master's is coming off an 18-12 record last season that saw the Mustangs go 7-7 in the GSAC to place fourth. Timberlie Miller, last year's GSAC Setter of the Year, is one of four starters back for the Mustangs this season.
Life Pacific earned the final two first-place votes and tallied 36 points to place fourth in the voting. The Warriors return three starters – including former All-GSAC selection Audrianna Guzman – from a 2023 team that finished 18-9 overall and third in the GSAC at 8-6.Â
OUAZ finished fifth in the voting with 26 points. First-year head coach Olivia Afusia inherits a team that returns four starters, including Brittnie Henige and her 180 kills and 49 blocks.

Arizona Christian and Park Gilbert tied for seventh place in the poll with 12 points apiece. Caitlin Chan leads four starters and nine rotation players who return for the Firestorm.
Mallory Turner is back for the Buccaneers after being named an honorable mention all-conference performer in the Cal Pac last season.
