Embry-Riddle moved to 3-1 in the GSAC Conference with a 3-0 win in Prescott over the Firestorm of Arizona Christian on Saturday evening.  

The match kicked off with both teams displaying aggressive tactics. However, it was the Eagles who struck first. Rae Yoshioka (Pearl City, Hawaii) opened the scoring in the 24th minute, netting her third goal of the season with an assist from Aubrie Labno (Anthem, Ariz.). This early goal set the tone for the Eagles, who continued to press forward.

Just eight minutes later, in the 32nd minute, Jamie Brandon (Phoenix, Ariz.) doubled the Eagles' lead, again assisted by Labno, marking her fifth goal of the season. The Firestorm struggled to find their rhythm, with their first shot on goal coming from Justyne Underwood, which was saved by Eagles' goalkeeper Annabelle Ruckle (Phoenix, Ariz.).

The Eagles weren't done yet; in the 37th minute, Yoshioka struck again, completing her brace and extending the lead to 3-0 before halftime. The Firestorm's defense, led by goalkeeper Tayler Wonderly, faced relentless pressure, making several crucial saves but ultimately unable to contain the Eagles' offensive onslaught.

Neither team seemed to find a rhythm in the second half, and ERAU held on for the 3-0 win.  

Embry-Riddle will travel to Phoenix on Thursday, October 3rd for a match-up with Park Gilbert at 5pm.
