In a back and forth game at Arizona Athletic Grounds on Thursday evening, Embry-Riddle beat the Buccaneers of Park University Gilbert 79-74.
The game kicked off with fierce competition, culminating in a halftime score of Embry-Riddle 48, Park-Gilbert 40. The Eagles maintained their lead through tactical plays and standout performances, particularly from their top scorers.
Peter Dress led the scoring with 18 points, followed by
Noah Gifft who contributed 15 points, and
Christian Wells, who not only scored 13 points but also secured 5 rebounds and made 2 steals.
Jacey Canalin and
David Teibo also delivered notable efforts with Canalin scoring 10 points and grabbing 3 rebounds, while Teibo added 4 points and 6 rebounds to the team's tally.
