Embry-Riddle triumphed over Bethesda University on Thursday evening with an impressive 87-58 win at the Activity Center.
The game was close at the beginning with the Eagles securing a halftime lead of 34-27. Their performance continued to escalate throughout the game, culminating in a dominant final score.
Nicole Evenson was the standout performer, netting a game-high 23 points. Her efforts were well-supported by
Kate McBride, who added 12 points to the team's tally.
Other notable performances included
Zakiirah King, who contributed 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals, and
Ella Schott, who grabbed 9 rebounds alongside her 9 points. The team's depth was on full display, with contributions across the board, including a strong defensive showing by
Mehgan Strickler, who secured 3 steals and 6 rebounds.
Embry-Riddle will play their first ever Great Southwest Athletic Conference game on Saturday as the Warriors of LIfe Pacific visit the Activity Center. The game will begin at 12pm.
