Embry-Riddle fell to Life Pacific University on Saturday afternoon in the Activity Center 8--72 despite a spirited comeback attempt in the second half.
The first half ended with Life Pacific holding a strong lead with a score of 45-30. Embry-Riddle's efforts to bridge the gap were visible as they improved their gameplay in the second half, but it wasn't enough to secure a victory against the formidable Warriors.
Noah Gifft was a standout performer for Embry-Riddle, scoring 24 points and adding 4 rebounds and a steal to his tally. His performance, alongside significant contributions from
Christian Wells with 9 points and 11 rebounds, and
Isaiah Wong, who added 11 points and 6 assists, showed the depth of effort put forth by the Eagles. Other team members including
Jake Klingler,
Conner Ivy, and
Demari Hackett also made valuable contributions in a closely fought game.
Embry-Riddle will head to Surprise next week as the Eagles take on OUAZ on Wednesday at 7:00pm in Faith Arena.
