Embry-Riddle led from start to finish at the West Coast Classic in Riverside, California this week as the Eagles began their season with a 1st place finish at Victoria Club.
Leading the way for ERAU was two freshman as
Olivia Zamarripa and
Bellamaria Mantini both finished in the top 10. Zamarripa finished in 4th with scores of 78 and 76. Mantini came in 7th as she shot a 77 on the first day and finished with a 79.
Maisy Alsen finished in a tie for 12th with an 81 in the first round and a 79 in the second round. Right behind Alsen was
Kaetlin Halseth. Halseth shot an 81 and an 80 in her two rounds.
Libby Axen came in 18th. After shooting an 84 the first day, Axen finished with an 80 for ERAU.
Embry-Riddle will return to the course on February 24th in Las Vegas as the Eagles will play in The Trailblazer hosted at TPC Summerlin and Bears Best Golf Club.
