Embry-Riddle used solid pitching from both Vanessa Brink and Claire Streeter along with timely hitting to beat Park Gilbert 9-2 in game one and a walk-off homerun by Arianna Garcia gave the Eagles the 6 inning run rule 10-1 victory in game two.
Game 1
Early Momentum
The Eagles set the tone early with Lily Anderson drawing a walk and stealing second base. Kealey Myhre then doubled to left field, driving in Anderson for the first run. This early lead energized the Eagles and set the stage for their offensive onslaught.
Myhre's Stellar Performance
Myhre was the standout player, going 3-for-4 with three doubles and four RBIs. Her clutch hitting was instrumental in the Eagles' victory, including a bases-clearing double in the sixth inning that broke the game wide open.
Sulusi and Bayless Shine
