Eagles Get Back Into Win Column

Embry-Riddle delivered a commanding performance on Saturday afternoon, rolling past Life Pacific University 85–52 in San Dimas, California.

From the opening tip, Embry-Riddle set the tone with stifling defense and sharp shooting. The Eagles raced to an 18–8 lead after the first quarter, fueled by early three-pointers from Morgan Evenson and Jaelah Clayton. They never looked back, outscoring Life Pacific in every period and building their largest lead of 35 points late in the fourth quarter.

Embry-Riddle showcased depth and efficiency, shooting 43.5% from the field and an impressive 41.2% from beyond the arc (14-of-34). The Eagles also converted 78.6% at the free-throw line and dominated the glass with a 45–30 rebounding advantage.

Makenzie Alapai led the charge with 17 points, including four three-pointers, and added four assists and two steals. Kapomaika'i Nakakura provided a spark off the bench with 15 points, hitting three triples and going a perfect 2-for-2 at the line. Riley Morris-Rexford chipped in nine points and three rebounds, while Katie McBride controlled the paint with eight boards and six points.

The Eagles' bench was pivotal, contributing 39 points to keep the pressure on Life Pacific throughout the contest.
