Embry-Riddle celebrated their seniors with a come from behind win in overtime to beat Life Pacific on Saturday afternoon as the Eagles won 59-58 in the Activity Center on a last second shot by
Riley Morris-Rexford.
The Eagles led by as many as 19 points in the third quarter, but were forced to regroup late as Life Pacific stormed back to force overtime. From there, ERAU executed in crunch time—closing the extra period on a decisive defensive stop and finishing with the game-winning layup in the final second.
Embry-Riddle showcased a well-distributed offensive attack with four players scoring eight or more points.
Katie McBride was outstanding for the Eagles:

- Key go-ahead baskets late in regulation
McBride provided steady interior scoring all afternoon, including a jumper with 1:01 left in the fourth quarter and a layup with 15 seconds remaining to give ERAU a brief 50–49 lead.
Riley Morris-Rexford supplied tremendous energy off the bench:

Morris-Rexford's extra-effort rebounding and timely scoring proved vital in stabilizing the Eagles during Life Pacific's late comeback push.

The Warriors began clawing back in the second half, outscoring ERAU 12–8 in the third quarter and 15–5 in the fourth, eventually tying the game at 50–50 with ten seconds remaining after a free throw from Ysabel Puente.
Life Pacific's potential game-winner at the buzzer missed, sending the contest to overtime.
The Warriors struck first in the extra period and built a six-point advantage (58–52) with 1:16 remaining, thanks to a layup from Puente and a flurry of inside finishes.
Life Pacific answered with a quick run to cut the lead to one, 58–57, with five seconds left.
From there, ERAU secured a defensive rebound off two missed Warrior free throws, setting the stage for the game's defining moment.
With one second remaining, Morris-Rexford powered in the go-ahead layup off a late-game set, sealing the 59–58 victory.
Embry-Riddle will head to La Sierra on Thursday for a game against the Golden Eagles beginning at 6:30pm.
