Embry-Riddle dropped a close 2-0 game to the Warriors of Westcliff University on Saturday morning in Prescott.
ERAU generated eight shots, four on target, and saw strong performances from several newcomers and returners alike.
The Eagles' best early looks came from Nitai Bental, who recorded three shots and consistently pressured the Warriors' back line. His 33rd-minute strike forced one of Olly Scott's four saves, part of a standout performance from the Westcliff goalkeeper.
This opener showcased a team with grit, depth, and attacking potential. The Eagles used 17 players, saw strong midfield work from
Julian Albanil and
Hugo Gil, and created enough chances to stay in the match throughout.
The Eagles will play again on Friday, August 28th in Prescott as Southern Oregon comes to town.
