PRESCOTT, Ariz. – The The Master's entered Saturday's conference matchup ranked No. 20 in the NAIA, but the Embry-Riddle volleyball team continued to show its competitiveness in GSAC play, battling the Mustangs before falling in three sets, 25-14, 25-22, 25-14. The Eagles now sit at 9-6 overall and 2-3 in conference play.

After dropping the opening set, Embry-Riddle responded with its strongest effort in the second frame. The Eagles matched the nationally ranked Mustangs point-for-point for much of the set, recording multiple ties and lead changes. A late push by the visitors ultimately secured a narrow 25-22 set win, but the competitive second set highlighted the Eagles' resilience against one of the conference's top programs.

Offensively, Anela Chew and Hannah Clear led the Eagles with six kills each, while Destiny Matthews added four kills and three blocks at the net. Haeden Baker also contributed a kill while hitting .500 in limited action.

The Eagles received solid defensive performances throughout the lineup. Ronni Lyons paced the team with eight digs, Sydney Sniffen recorded seven, and Brooke Eglinton added four. Setters Alice Tuci and Annette Tapia combined for 19 assists, helping distribute the offense against a tough Mustang defense. Tapia also chipped in a service ace.
