Personal Records Galore At Aztec Invite

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Ariz.) women's outdoor track & field kept their pace up yet again late Friday night when they ran in multiple events at the Aztec Invitational hosted by San Diego State University.

In the women's 1500, Jessica Embro (SR/Boulder City, Nev.) ran a school record 4:42.47, narrowly missing the nationals B standard by .47 seconds. Caroline Sloan (FR/Gilbert, Ariz.) ran a solid race and dropped her time by three seconds to a lifetime best of 4:55.8.

Keili Dorn (SR/Kailua Kona, Hawaii) ran a personal and school record of 10:16.73 in the women's 3000 which adds to her already decorated accomplishments during her tenure at ERAU.

Ariana Anderson (FR/Torrance, Calif.) ran her first 5000 on the track and went 18:36 for 8th place while Carissa Evans (FR/Prescott, Ariz.) also ran the 5K for the first time and went 19:47 for 16th place.

Riddle will run in the Pomona Pitzer Invite in two weeks (4/6) before they head to the outdoor track & field nationals.
