Embry-Riddle had runners compete in the 800m run, the mile run, and the 3000m race at the NAU Tune Up in Flagstaff on Friday evening hosted at the NAU Sky Dome.
800m RunÂ
Kylie Monson, Ariela Lerner, and
Mia Sanchez competed in the 800m race. Monson finished with a time of 2:40.80 followed by Lerner in 2:50.12. Sanchez finished with a time of 3:19.91. Â
Mile Run
Carlee Murphy led the Eagles in the mile race with a 12th place finish and a time of 5:41.58. Next was
Mia Kemp with a time of 5:46.52. The third Eagle to cross the finish line was
Heidi Donovan, finishing in 5:49.65.Â
Fionnula Carew finished in 5:59.98 and she was followed by
Tiffany Terry who finished in 6:02.25. Lerner finished in 6:27.15 followed by Sanchez in 7:14.70.
3000m Run
Four Embry-Riddle runners finished inside the top ten in the 3000 led by Murphy with a time of 11:16.33. Kemp was next with a time of 11:25.27. Donovan crossed the finished line in 11:39.56 followed by Terry in 11:54.91. Carew ran a new personal best finishing in 12:27.07.
ERAU will run again at the Oxy Distance Carnival hosted in Eagle Rock, California on March 14th. Â
