PRESCOTT, ARIZ. – The Embry-Riddle women's basketball team wrapped up its two-game week with a 62-50 loss to Corban on Sunday. The Eagles had to rally again like it did earlier in the week, but fell just short and will take a 4-2 overall record to Colorado next week.

Embry-Riddle trailed 30-12 near the middle portion of the second half, but fought through and made the game very close. The Eagles cut the deficit to five points, but were unable to eventually take the lead.

Mehgan Strickler recorded her second consecutive double-double, as she scored 15 points to go along with 10 rebounds. Strickler grabbed seven of her boards in the second half, and had a few highlight-reel buckets throughout the afternoon.

The Eagles hit the glass hard on Sunday, as they finished with a 44-35 advantage. ERAU was giving themselves second chances as well, grabbing 17 offensive rebounds on the day.

Embry-Riddle will now head to Colorado for a pair of games against NCAA Division II teams. The Eagles will start the trip with a matchup against Adams State on Friday, November 18^th.
