Embry-Riddle overcame a halftime deficit to secure a 2-1 victory against the Park-Gilbert (AZ) Buccaneers under challenging cold and rainy conditions in Prescott on Saturday evening.  

The match unfolded with Park-Gilbert initially taking the lead. Miha Javnik, aided by an assist from Noah Yalu, struck first for the Buccaneers at 23:27 into the game, setting a challenging pace.

The Eagles, however, entered the second half undeterred despite trailing 1-0. Persistence paid off when Roei Nir (Tel Aviv, Israel), connected by Julian Albanil's (Scottsdale, Ariz.) assist, equalized the score at 78:19, revitalizing the home team's spirits. The winning moment was marked by Aleksandar Mihajlovic (Belgrade, Serbia), who delivered the crucial blow at 84:31, ensuring a memorable win for Embry-Riddle.

The defensive efforts were anchored by goalie Elias Ammon (Bremen, Germany), who played the entire 90 minutes, managing to keep the opponent to just one goal. His resilience under the bar was pivotal for the Eagles' defense.

Embry-Riddle will play Arizona Christian in Glendale on Thursday evening with the game beginning at 8pm.
