Embry-Riddle moved to 10-1-1 with a 4-1 over OUAZ in Surprise on Saturday afternoon.
Jamie Brandon (Phoenix, Ariz.) started the scoring for ERAU with a goal off a corner kick from
Rae Yoshioka (Pearl City, Hawaii) in the 22nd minute to give the Eagles a 1-0 advantage. Just 35 seconds later,
Ella Carnahan (Deer Park, Wash.) picked off a pass from the goalkeeper and doubled the Embry-Riddle lead.
In the second half,
Kaitlyn Roskopf (Chino Valley, Ariz.) opened the scoring as she was able to take a pass from
Ellie Neal (Gilbert, Ariz.) and beat the goalkeeper to make the score 3-0. The last Embry-Riddle goal was scored by Yoshioka. Yoshioka's goal came from a free kick after
Jamie Black (Tucson, Ariz.) was taken down just outside the box.
OUAZ was able to get a goal back in the 81st minute, but the Eagles held on for a 4-1 win.
Embry-Riddle will celebrate their seniors on Wednesday night against Life Pacific with the game kicking off at 5pm. The senior night celebration will start right after the game.
